Edinburgh - Lothian Road

Our server Michael was lovely and very kind - checked on us multiple times and was always a call away. I had a lovely experience and it was great service. Thanks Michael!! Even as teenagers we could see that Michael was attentive to all the customers he served!

Camzo was a lovely staff member who greeted us warmly and offered to seat us in a booth. However, our experience was quickly soured by the manager, Peter, whose behaviour was shockingly unprofessional. He interrupted Camzo mid-service, abruptly closed off the booth area, and insisted we sit at the front instead.

Awful food , cold and tasteless . Poor and gone down hill badly

Donna has been lovely on 2 of my visits here, always there to have a conversation with guests about there day and what they have been up to, making the environment very friendly and welcoming!

Very well mannered trainee at the front who was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Was surprised that it was a trainee with the amount of professionalism he had. Made the whole experience a pleasure.

We was greeted with a warm welcome by a friendly staff member. Food was great and was delivered promptly. It was clean and well kept.

with melted butter .. straight from the hob

Spent a Girlie night out and ended up at Nandos for a bite
The food and atmosphere was just about right
Time for a natter and chatter

Chicken thighs .mash and spicy rice
with Nando sauce was really nice

Value for money counts a lot
And given the Peri Peri sauce was extra hot
This was indeed a tasty meal
and gets my Approval Seal

I had bandits spicy wings,coleslaw and sweet corn. I never get bored of the food,especially the yummy sauces

My fiance and I had just moved back to Edinburgh after a year abroad. My fiance's offices are conveniently located right across from Nandos on Lothian Road. He'd told me that it had just installed a new patio area for eating! Obviously being very excited about this, we decided to go for lunch on a sunny weekday!

In Edinburgh for a night out (I can definitely recommend Usher's of Edinburgh and The Bow Bar for some awesome ales), so what better way to line the stomach than with a tasty peri-peri treat? I chose Lothian Road and was on the train so walked the mile from Edinburgh station... only to realise that Haymarket station is only half a mile away :-) From times in Edinburgh before, I would forget trying to drive and park, especially during the day and stick with public transport if you can.

Okay, so chicken is great, which instantly puts nandos high in my rankings for restaurant choice! But on a fairly quiet Sunday evening, our party was dissapointed. After seating ourselves, with no one in sight, we know how this works after all, we waited an age while one poor nando-ee served on tills. We love the whole order individually system, it makes splitting bills easy! But when ordering one after another, to the same table we expect our food together!

This store in the Heart of Edinburgh has quite a large frontage on quite a big site, parking obviously is an issue in a city centre and you should read the parking restrictions carefully, though some of the side streets offer free parking after 6:30 which is ideal for evening visitors.

Near city centre. Great friendly staff. Walk from Edinburgh Haymarket Train Station, also accessible via Edinburgh Waverley. Right on the door to Lyceum Theatre and Usher Hall, nearby pubs all around!
