Nearby:
A few yards from Sutton train station (it is just a few shop-fronts away). West Sutton station is also only half a mile away. An Empire Cinema is 1/4 mile walk away.
Parking:
You may find it difficult to park. Following the signs to the main sign-posted car parks during the evening, will take you to Brighton Road and Times Square, which close around 6pm. You may have to end up parking down a side road which are mixtures of permit holder spaces and pay/display parking. The pay/display bays only charge between 8am and 6:30pm.

Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

I was here 8 weeks earlier I ordered 1/4 chicken and got I thigh.
This time I ordered butterfly chicken - which meant to be 2 chicken breast joined by skin but the size of that was the size of a single small chicken breast.
No one came to ask if everything was ok.
Prices are going up by about 20-30p on each meal and the sizes are getting smaller.
I came here for the chicken and yet again leaving disappointed.
Sadly this might be my last visit.

Sutton is a pleasant Surrey town based along one long high street with the Nandos just out of the pedestrian zone and just over the road from the train station.

Staff were freindly enough and food was tasty with good portion size.

The front of stores giant windows slide open to bring the outside in.

Toilets were a subterranean mission to get to but were clean and tidy once found.

A month after starting my new job I finally got around to trying my new weekday local! The Nando's in Sutton is a 5-10 minute walk from my new office and as I have an hour for lunch now I decided to give it a go. I got there just after 1pm and it was busier than I was expecting. I was shown to a nice table, in view of the drinks machines (which when you are on your own is a real bonus). I put my jumper down and went up to order straight away.

Today was an extra-special day for me in Nando's; myself and a colleague had been away with work for several weeks in Africa. So there we were, on our grand return, myself and 7 colleagues converged upon the dining establishment to indulge our carnivorous desires on premium quality chicken. We were greeted inside the door with a smile for a familiar face from the lovely Greta - being professional consumers our table was ready and waiting so all we had to do was queue for our orders.

Had the thigh burger - lovely and very filling! Have eaten in this nandos many times before and was the same as usual - nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about and the chicken was as yummy as ever. It was busy (but expected on a Saurday night) but still got seated and served reasonably quickly and staff were helpful.

An afternoon flight back to Gatwick from Genoa on a Friday afternoon was a great excuse to check out a new Nando's on the drive back, especially with the M25 choca-block. We chose to go to Sutton which was a relatively simple half an hour away.

We parked at B and Q which was a five-minute walk away and offered free parking for customers for up to 2 and a half hours. We did buy some cacti, in case you were wondering!

My 95th Nando's was not too bad despite the hour and half journey to get there.

Enticed my gym teacher into going as I talk about Nando's so often and about my quest to get to 100 before nee year and she'd agreed to take me to Sutton as she used to live there. Once we ignored the sat nav the journey was a pretty easy and quiet one even tho it was still a bit long.

How YUM is Nandos Sutton? Well it's enough to awaken anyone's tastebud's. I had a party of 6 with me of all ages and we all had no problem finding something we each loved. From firehouse hot to mild for a child, Nandos has it all!

As usual, Sutton Nandos impresses. I go frequently (because who doesn't love Nandos?) and was recognised by staff and greeted warmly.

Staff seemed to be dealing with difficult customers when we went to order and we were left queuing for a long time. Other people shoved in front of us and so we were delayed ordering. When we got there, no one apologised for our wait. Meal was fine but when a waitress cleared the table, she barely smiled and cleared half before leaving and then not bothering to clear the rest of our plates. Overall it was a disappointing visit.

This Nando's is right in the town centre of Sutton and is just a few yards from Sutton train station (it is just a few shop-fronts away). West Sutton station is also only half a mile away. Being in the town centre, there's plenty of other eateries etc and also an Empire Cinema only 1/4 mile away.

The girlfriend and I went out to lunch at the Sutton branch of Nando's on a cold Thursday lunchtime in need of a spicy kick to proceedings. The restaurant itself is situated just five minutes' walk from the borough's high street and within close walks from car parks nearby so it's easily accessible. Not only that, but there are plenty of things to see and do with cinemas and bars adding to the potential for a good night out followed by or starting with a trip to our favourite restaurant.

Sutton Nando's was the 35th to open in the United Kingdom.
We went there mid-afternoon on a Tuesday, and from a promising start (bright, airy atmosphere, cock on a stick, and sangria actually in stock), it started to go downhill.

Very generous with portions. No matter how busy they are, staff are always polite and friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed and there is never any trouble inside.

My favourite Nandos by far.

Portions seemed quite small, was quite stingy with the chip spice, and the decor was very plain.
