I wanted to add a little comment here for a staff member. I had ordered for collection and immediately when I entered, I was kindly greeted by James at the Nando’s Light a young staff member! He happily told us that the order had come through so they would be around a 5 minute wait. He mentioned that we could wait here with such a polite manner as well as going out of his way to ask whether we wanted a glass of water!

Thought I'd play safe and order a chickpea burger but it hardly had any relish. Burger was in two small bits. Bap was dry! Slither of hummus. Thin lettuce. Like they were rationing.

Food was cold, when it got to the table. Restaurant seemed dirty and needed an update. No staff asked how the food was. Best thing about the meal was the glass of wine

DIDN'T even get in!! Was absolutely fuming with how nandos are operating whilst in the pandemic. How they operate the booking in system is ridiculous! You can’t book in over the phone you can’t book in online. You’re expected to wait outside a nandos and scan a code to then be told to wait up to 50 minutes!!! In such busy places why don’t you just operate a book in only online! This would work a lot better to how you’re working it right now!! What a wasted journey!

1/4 Peri Flamer (Leg & Thigh)

Chips were cooked nicely but the portion seemed small for it's nice. Garlic bread was a bit dry and burnt around the edges.

Having waited 45 minutes we had to ask the server how long it will take to receive our food. They explained that it was due to a veggie burger taking long and time of year. However it wasn't even busier than a normal day. The young guy serving us was great he offered us more drinks due to the wait. It was more frustrating seeing the food sat waiting to be taken to tables. Staff would just walk past the waiting food. Overall we love nandos it's amazing food. Just too long to wait.

Great food as always - had a butterfly burger for the first time and was not disappointed! Only negative was after I finished my meal looking at the recipe I realized the lady serving me had added on a £2.50 bottomless drink I specifically said no too! Apart from this though great meal, great staff, great music and great atmosphere!! 9/10

This restaurant gets very busy as it's based in Leeds City Centre and near a cinema. Food and service are great but it can be very difficult to get a table on weekend if you go at peak times.

Leeds The Light for the third time, and this time was certainly better than the last time!

Entered and were greeted by an enthusiastic Nandoca who allowed me to pick my own table, number 5. I pondered the menu and placed my order with another Nandoca who was equally happy to be around.

Just wanted to comment how much I appreciated the staff in the Leeds, The Light, Nandos, letting me sit where it was more comfortable for me. They were closing down section by section as it was 10pm on Good Friday when we visited but when my husband said that it was a comfort issue as I have a bad back, they re-opened a section that had bench seating in. The staff were friendly, polite and worked hard. When the food came, it was lovely tender and tasty and not too expensive.

Now that I am living permanently in the North-East of England where we have a serious lack of Nando's, it's incredibly rare when I get to visit a new branch. I was surprised when my friend suggested that, as he was off work for the week, we should go for a drive to visit a new branch.

This store is one of the older bastions of Nandos and I remember coming here several years back with the university of Portsmouth Tae Kwon Do club long before I became a fanatic and they managed to squeeze us all in on a Saturday night and the duty manageress at the time even gave us some free nuts and olives. In fact I think it was my second or even third ever Nandos.

Popped into nandos for a quick take away whilst off to an event in Leeds!
With it being hot weather most people chose to sit outside. (In the shopping centre)
Staff were very polite and helpful! Was served very quickly despite a queue.
Ordered my food as usual and waited in the corner specifically set out for takeaway purposes. All condiments etc there for you to help yourself to.

This visit to Nando's was exceptional. Unlike other restaurants, I had the feeling that the staff cared about our time there and not just 'putting up with customers' - a vibe you can get at other social restaurants.

Located in The Light shopping centre with many other eateries and shops in The Light, but hundreds more just a few minutes walk away around Leeds City Centre (including a Vue cinema in The Light).

The Light has its own car park, but there are quite a number of car parks dotted around only a few minutes away. The rates vary from place to place and also offer cheaper weekend rates, so check before you go. Leeds Station is also only a few minutes walk away too.

Nando's is genuinely like my second home, the food is very wholesome and always make me feel warm inside. It’s the same feeling I get when I eat my mum’s food (NO LIE). I’m the one you come to when you’re a Nando’s virgin and would like to know what to have; I am the Nando’s queen! (Seriously). Not only is Nando’s special because of its delicious food, but the fact that it’s situated in the city centre where you have access to the cinema nearby is the icing on top of the cake, that is all.

Set in a modern indoor upmarket shopping complex neighboured with cafe rouge and italian restaurant chain Brio, Nando's in The Light offers a friendly, aesthetic setting with the usual Nando's standard of food. A special recommendation goes to host Neil perry, who offers that little bit extra hospitality as you walk through the door.

There is unique seating which is why it gets a 5 for decoration. Located conveniently in the City Centre.
