Elephant and Castle

We regularly eat at Nando’s in Bedford and other destinations we go to.
We was not greeted to well on entry and staff was not professional in their service and quite rude to my partner.
The staff taking the order and was occupied on his phone and it was a few minutes before we could give our order .
On the whole this of Nando’s was disappointing and doesn’t give the business as a whole a good review and does not give a good impression of this brand.

Excellent service and food. Couldn't do enough for us. The professionalism of our waiter, Dillon, shone through. A real gentleman.

Lovely staff, especially Dolan who was really sweet making sure we had everything we needed, opening the door and overall having a lovely prescence

Marcie Queen and Lisa are always amazing! My partner and I are regulars and they are always so friendly and make our day. Their service is amazing and they are always smiling and happy. We love going in there to see them and the rest of the staff are also so lovely. They know our orders off by heart, i always go for the fino pitta!

This branch is very close to the Elephant and Castle Tube Station. However it’s necessary to negotiate a VERY busy roundabout/junction, once you exit the station, to reach it.
The staff member who greeted us on arrival was extremely pleasant & seated us immediately in a window seat. It’s a shame the view is very depressing.

I love going out with my family, I think it is very important. What was the first spot my dad thought of? NANDO'S of course! When we got there we immediately got a table. The lady who served us was really lovely, she asked us how good we wanted our chicken, asked if we wanted olives and she even helped my dad get the best bargain we could. Later on in the night, I went to the toilet with my sister.

An impromptu decision to go for Nando's resulted in http://www.rateyournandos.com/users/blaynos and I ending up in the Elephant & Castle branch. Having never been before, it took a while for us to get there – the tube station is a maze and it's a few minutes walk to the restaurant.

This central London store is on a very well known roundabout and as such doesn't really have scope for parking but is relatively well serviced by public transport.

The chicken was so burnt it was quite unbeleivable how on earth they though it was OK to serve it.

My half chicken was a bit crispy, with a few burnt bits but the chicken was very chewwy and dry - it had obviously been left somewhere for ages. My friends half chicken looked OK, but once turned over the whole chicken was completely charred black carbon - not possible to eat. We were in a rush and so I ate my dish - but they replaced my friends once he turned it over! Bad show.

This branch is fairly close to the station, and easy to find once we got onto the right side of the road. We were enthusiastically welcomed and seated straight away. Although the branch seemed hygienic, the décor was archaic and made the whole restaurant feel gloomy and enclosed. When ordering my food I felt disregarded as the server answered questions from customers behind me, and stopped to ask other workers questions irrelevant to my order.

Very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Ideal pre bowling dinner!
