Elephant and Castle - Blaynos Review
This was a half-planned, half-spontaneous Nando's visit with http://www.rateyournandos.com/users/oliviarosemh and, as such, didn't have my Nando's RYN gift cards to use (that said, I actually need to look for them).
We picked the Elephant & Castle branch using the RYN tube guide because the weather was shocking all day and we wanted to be close to a station. As it was, the tube station itself is a ridiculous maze and finding the right exit and the branch probably took 10-15mins from platform level!
Finally got to the branch and there was a huge queue out the door and into the rain; the greeting Nandoca did his best to control the rabble and get as many people into the branch to wait (even brought out more chairs). After a fair wait, we were finally sat on the end of an eight-person table, along with other duos who were asked if they wouldn't mind sharing.
Despite some queue jumpers (both for seats and the tills), we ordered - although the till Nandoca got the table wrong on my order. Food took ages to come but it was decent when it did - the halloumi was especially good while the peri chips again lacked the peri. Good amount of sauces available initially, which dwindled by the time we had finished.
Gave the branch a 3/5 for decor, pretty standard stuff and there is outdoor seating for when the weather is more agreeable.
