Nandos GPS is definitely one of the best branches.

A visit to a Central London Nando's which is a little off the beaten track, Great Portland Street.

Entered and was seated after a short wait (despite no-one being in the outlet) in a table that was right by the window. After a spell of conversation, I went up to order. This was a fairly painless experience other than the server went off to seat a pair of diners mid-way through my order. Not great. Otherwise, seemed to go OK.

This trainee girl that served us (Mica) made our entire visit worth it, we hadda wait 20 mins on chicken but the girls energy and enthusiasm was on point!! She might be just in training but she's definitely got the vibe for this job! Would return just to have the pleasure of her serving us again

On a wonderful Monday evening we attended the Rate Your Nando's extravaganza. I sat next to Vanessa Feltz which was a real treat. My favourite part of the meal has got to be the chickeeeen. As per usual, Marc Joss and the Rate Your Nando's team kept us all thoroughly entertained throughout the evening which can only be described as magical.

As far as i can remember this Nando's was quite difficult to find as i went the wrong way after getting out of the station...maybe that was my fault. When I finally arrived I found that we had quite a large area at the back which was awesome..although it was abit dim i thoroughly enjoyed myself as we ended up winning the quiz on a tie breaker and getting myself some free nando's sauce (always a winner).

So I finally made it to a Review Dinner and it was great to attend in such a nice restaurant. This Nando's was just a few minutes walk away from both Regent's Park and Great Portland Street tube stops.

Like many of the central London branches the Great Portland Street is a smoothly run slick operation. A wait for a table was avoided by arriving before 1pm which is a tip that can save you a lot of time if planning to lunch at this restaurant on a Friday.

This particular branch of Nando's would be particularly pleasing for anyone with claustrophobia due to the large open spaces, which I hope store management don't get tempted to clutter up.

Almost a year has passed since this branch opened and I will only be visiting again out of convenience. Given the Nando's options in this particular part of central London are so wide, make sure you choose carefully! This branch doesn't offer much in terms of décor with a bland front and strange piping dominating the ceiling.
The staff did as expected, nothing to write home about.

walking into the Great Portland Street Nandos one is welcomed by a spacious, well organised and lively Nandos. The first time I went i was shyly looking around for a table when a member of staff jumped to my rescue and seated myself and my friends in a comfy booth. Having forgot to get our cutlery and plates, the our helpful waitress sped over to the cutlery station and provided us with everything we would need to enjoy our chicken including a range of sauces.

It was nearly 9pm so quite late for an evening meal, but it wasn't the tidiest of restaurants.. they were trying too hard to get the quaint look personalised by having all the furniture too school like.. school science lessons were never comfortable.
Nobody greeted me at the door, and I had to go straight to the counter, where the staff member was on the phone with no effort of signalling other staff over.

My first ever trip to a Nando's on a branch's opening day and I have to say I was very impressed - almost no teething troubles! The branch has great decoration and is one of the best I have seen (this was my 79th Nando's branch). There are some very interesting lights, wooden ceiling decorations, and tables with stools on one side and comfy looking sofa-chairs on the other.
