Berners Street

I got a sunset burger but waited over 30 minutes before it came. When it arrived the burger was cold. I told the waitress and she (Anna) brought me a new one after 3-4 minutes. The chicken was warm but the bun was cold and very dry. I couldn’t get in contact with a waiter and the line for the deck was very long (I was was very hungry, at this time I’ve waited like 40 minutes), so I ate almost the entire burger (very disappointed).

Brilliant food, great service, everyone attentive and smiley. The food was hot and delicious, excellent value for money!

I was waiting for a table on a Friday night and surprisingly it didn’t take that long. Staff were very friendly (Paula greeted me) and welcoming and were honest about the wait for a table which I appreciated as I didn’t want to waste time. A lovely gentleman by the name of Ivan served me and was so pleasant to chat to. Food was the best, as always.

Two quarter chickens medium; large peri chips; halloumi; olives; bottomless drink.

Despite ordering two quarter chickens they initially didn't serve two breast pieces so I had to send one back. Could have been more sauce/peri spice on them but the large chips was a very generous large!

I ordered half a chicken medium with peri chips, garlic bread and halloumi. I was less than pleased with the chicken which was not very meaty. The volume of peri salt was satisfactory, garlic bread and halloumi were both very good.

As usual with the Rate Your Nando's reviewer dinners, there was an epic pre-meal raffle where I won a free meal, the celebrations were wild!

Standard Nando's in an excellent location. Probably the cleanest Nando's at which I've dined, admittedly there's not been many. Sadly, possibly the slowest service I've experienced, and that's a tremendous problem when you're very hungry!

This store just off the busy Oxford road has a small front which like the Tardis hides the vast store inside. Once into the store you walk over a little bridge with massive mirrors either side decked with red crystal hearts and fairy lights which I presume is to direct some natural light to the lower floor. There were 3 couples ahead of me so I had to wait a while to get a table which when I did it was at the front of the downstairs section which was below the entrance bridge.

Popped in to Berners Street restaurant (rarely go to the same restaurant twice - I am attempting to go to every single Nando's in the world, but occasionally forced by friends to repeat the same restaurant).

Only stopped in for a take away, staff were helpful and friendly, got a few extra loyalty stamps :)

This branch is a 5 minute walk from Oxford Street tube which means it is perfectly located for shoppers who need a good meal after a long day shopping! Chilli lighting greets you on arrival and there is a large number of booths although we arrived too late to be seated at one on this occasion unfortunately.
The only disappointing aspect of this visit was that I was not allowed to get 2 stamps after ordering a full platter. Had I known, I would have split the order in two.

The worst Nando's in London. Avoid at all costs. Staff have very bad attitude problems. always telling the long line waiting to order "Move out the way". No distinction between waiting to pay or looking at menus. A mess. Your order will always have something wrong with it, you will have to send it back..sit and watch..everyone does. The staff in general act like they don't want to be there. I love Nando's, but this branch really lets the brand down.
