This Nando's is located on Berners Street, which is just off Oxford Street right inbetween Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Circus tube stops, so a few minutes walk from either one.

Arrived at this Nando's at about 5pm on a Saturday and there was a queue out the door! Shoppers doing their final bit of Xmas shopping all looking for some tasty chicken! In the end, the wait for a table was only 5 minutes, but this was then followed by a 25 minute wait at the tills and a 30 minute wait for the food to come. I was seated downstairs and so this gave a chance to scope out the decor. There's generally a leather upholstered bench running along the oustide with tables/chairs making the seating. There were a couple of very large groups (12+) at the back right (opposite the tills) so plenty of room for groups. There's some interesting artwork on the walls too - inclulding one of dogs pooing... :-) Upstairs, as you enter, you are on a little foot bridge which has mirrors and red lighting from the ceiling all the way down to the floor below. There are a few booths upstairs as well.

Anyway, once the food came it was so disappointing. The chips and rice had just been cooked and were very hot and crispy and steaming hot and moist respectively... but the chicken was such a let down. It was really pale and didn't look like it had been cooked and once you got down nearer the bone it was pink and even purple/red in many places. It was a real put-off. On top of all this, it looked like it was it a little pool of butter on the plate... but this turned out to be a film of grease. Bleh.

Staff were run of their feet so just doing what they could.
