Food was cold, staff seemed miserable and fed up, peas side was dry and tasteless and looked like it had been sitting in a pot all week. Peas were all shrunken and disgusting. Not usual.

I ordered via nandos website at 19:00 at 21:00 food hadn't arrived. No update was given me and my children aged 4 and 5 waited 2 hours only for the food to be at the nandos. They told me a further 40mins for delivery a total of 3 hours for food. I was unable to plan as I wasn't notified of a delay.

This Nando's has a convenient town centre location, less than 5 minutes walk from mainline, tube and tram services as well as numerous bus routes. There are several car parks nearby as well.

This store is a short walk away from the Wimbledon train station and is right opposite the New Wimbledon Theatre. Spread over 2 storeys with french windows on the ground floor capable of opening up onto the street though the floor level is lover inside the store and featuring seating on the pavement for those that like to sit outside.

Craving a Nando's for Saturday night's dinner, myself and 2 friends headed on down to the Nando's in Wimbledon. We arrived shortly after 8pm and the place was quite busy. We were told there was a 25min wait for a table so we accepted and put our name down on the waiting list at the door. We noticed a number of people in front of us had put their names down and then stepped outside to wait. We also decided to step outside for 10-15mins as it was quite busy inside and wanted to get some air.

Entered the outlet, and wasn't too impressed at first. I was pointed to the main seating area (which is to the right as you enter, and contains 12 tables) by the Nandoca behind the till. After selecting a table, Number 8, I was given a menu which I pondered for a short while. After deciding to be daring and go hot, I went to the till to order.

Got there around half six, were greeted and seated straight away. Less than ten minute wait for two quarter chickens, one free, sweet mash, garlic bread and halloumi. Everything was fine, cooked well, plenty of mash and no burnt bits whatsoever. I even got two breast bits of chicken smothered in sauce, it was great!

After a long day at Wimbledon (which included getting soaked walking down from the Tennis to the town centre), the clear choice for dinner was Nando's with fellow RYN-er Steven. The Nando's is located about 5-10minute away from the station (the opposite way from the tennis direction, which was annoying given the weather!) and it's slightly tucked away at the start of a side road - just off the high street.

This was a great feed after going to Wimbledon to watch the tennis! A bit of a walk but it was worth it as we were starving..I was able to use my red nando's rewards which was very handy. I opted for the burger with chips and garlic bread. The garlic bread was a little over cooked but was still good. The staff were really friendly and helpful even though I had been a number of times which was nice to see!

A translation job in Chiswick had to be followed by the nearest Nando's which I was yet to visit and that happened to be here, in posh Wimbledon! The restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the train station and is one of the older ones with nothing particularly modern about it but that is in no way a problem!
