Everyone were very friendly.. Yam, Derick and Mathew, exceeded the most at the customer service. They were very welcoming and very polite. This place has great hospitality

Waitress never smiled or spoke seemed quite rude and unprofessional, other staff were lovely.
We placed and payed for our order, 15 minutes later we got told there was no chicken left, and we would have to wait for some more to be cooked, they gave us 2 starter choices for waiting. ( thank you )
Once our food arrived I got a chicken leg instead of the quarter of chicken I ordered, I was so hungry by this time I didn’t want to wait any longer.

Food fantastic. Lack of Fino Pittas despite advertised. However on entry, was told food would be 20 minute wait which wasn’t a problem. This was actually meant as a 20 minute wait for a table despite the restaurant being 25% full. There was no customer service at all, no menus handed out, no mention of missing food, and then the drinks dispenser was broken but only found out as I was using it, after I’d paid for 2 bottomless drinks, so just ended with water.

The lady behind the counter wasn't English and couldn't understand what I was asking for, then mixed up my order I asked for a pita and she put down half a chicken, this happened twice then she got the orange reward and the green award mixed up, then when the food came undercooked and purple. Manager did give me and my friends two free deserts and a free meal for when we go next time but I am normally impressed by nandos safe to say I'm not going back for a while.

I had to come and write a review of my latest visit to the Wakefield chain. Its only my 2nd time here but i have visited a number of Nandos around the North and so have a good idea of what goes and what doesn't.
I was really impressed with the speed of service, its not a big restaurant so is always really busy, but we was shown a table within a couple of minutes of walking through the door and our order was taken rather quickly in comparison to my past experience.

This is the best Nando's I've ever been to, the food is consistently great, the staff even recognise me and my family when I enter. I have searched for the best Nando's ever since the first time I came here, but I feel that there is no better Nando's than in Wakefield. The interior decoration is superb, but the exterior design isn't outstanding because it is next to the cineworld

Always consistent with every area and it is the best Nando's I've ever been to because of their quick and systematic approach to serving each customer and they are very aware of if people are in a rush to see a movie in the cinema next to it.

This store is based in a retail area and is in between a mecca bingo and a cinema with lots of free parking around. From the outside it didn't look too great and resembled more a corrugated sheet factory with a large illuminated sign on the exterior of the building. Upon entering the store I was very pleasantly shocked. As you enter this spacious store you are met with a waiting area and chairs for people to wait for their take away or seat.

Only been to this Nando's once... and once you get inside it's very welcoming - but it looks as though you're walking into a warehouse. It's on the Westgate retail park - so thousands of free spaces which is great and is next door to a cinema. Nando's obviously weren't allowed to do anything with the outside as it's just all solid metal/plastic grey, like a warehouse. Very ugly from the outside.
