Tamworth train station is just over 1 mile walk away. Tamworth castle is half a mile walk away and the nearest cinema (Odeon) is just under a mile walk away by the Ankerside Shopping Centre.
Parking: 
There is parking right outside on this little strip, but only about 50 (official) spaces shared between Pizza Express, Costa and Nando's - so be prepared to park elsewhere on the retail park (I.e. outside John Lewis or Sainsbury's) which will give you just a minute or so extra walk.

Staff were amazing. Matt went out of his way to ensure my mum had a lovely birthday. We were asked several times by different staff if we were ok and had everything we needed. It's the best experience we have ever had in a Nandos! It was worth the wait and we will definitely be returning.

After being told the wait for a table was 40mins we decided to order and takeaway which was a 25min wait. We waited opposite the tills for 50mins. Not one member of staff asked if we were okay, very poor customer service. We asked at the till and we were told our food had been waiting for 35mins at the collection desk. Clearly the staff don’t have any communication skills or any skills in customer service. Extremely disappointed.

Unfortunately I hate to have to leave a bad review.... No peri peri seasoning for food!!! No olives!!! The wine I asked for that states on the menu 'by the glass' apparently I couldn't have by the glass!!! Bottle only!! No opologies by staff, really looked like they couldn't be bothered tbh!!! I then had bottomless gelato.... The machine broke down.... No refund offered!!! Overall a bad experience. We will not be returning due to this.

We have just moved to the area a few months ago
I had wings today the wings were cooked by Sam lady with glasses and were great I find sometimes they aren’t great as the skin can be chewy but these were lovely with crispy skin

Everytime I try to get a table with my partner at this branch it's a 30 min to an hour wait which we do not want, massive inconvenience, constant excuse is lack of staff, we mainly go on the weekends so how is this reoccurring theme not picked up on and staffing levels rectified, it's not a case of the restaurant being full, because there are always empty tables.

Not greeted on arrival, seated ourselves
Ordered food after a 5 min wait at counter no one in front of us I counted 9 members of staff and not 1 greeted us
Upon ordering we were given dirty glasses that my 16 year old daughter had to wash out before we filled up
Food came and both girls food was wrong - they took it back to counter a further 5 mins before someone greeted them both standing at counter with their food

Arriving at 9pm on a week night meant I was seated and ordering straight away. The Nandoca on the till was wonderful and worthy of a rare 5/5 for staff. If I had been a first timer, his careful explanation of how the menu works and friendly manner would have been incredibly useful.

Great speedy service and nice staff. Just be careful crossing the road as there are no traffic lights if you are coming from the retail park.

After visiting Nandos this afternoon with my partner, it's safe to say I think we'll be eating there more often. Our food was on our table within five minutes of us ordering. George who was our guest server was so polite, patient and helpful, one of the nicest waiters, I've had in a long time. The store should be extremely lucky to have a worker like that!

Had a Halloumi starter, arrived 2 minutes after ordering.
Boneless platter, 5 minutes after the starter arrived.

This is only theme second visit to this Nandos and personally it was the best Nandos I had eaten at around the Birmingham area. The restaurant has a beautiful design with lights hanging down from the ceiling to give an affect of stars when looking at the windows in to the nights sky.

Easy to get to as is off many commuter routes. Parking isn't that easy as Nando is next to Costa and Pizza Express but most people parking are heading for Nando ! Bright, clean and cheery, I particularly enjoy the aspect of this restaurant. I always feel relaxed and satisfied when there, nothing is hard work, spacing is good for seating areas, no awkward moments.

With a huge thanks to Nando's, I was lucky enough to be invited to one of the dry run days at this long awaited Tamworth branch. The saga of whether a Nando's would open in Tamworth, is what prompted the creation of the Rate Your Nando's Opening Soon & Restaurant Rumours page. It was on Nando's' very own website where a graphic in early 2010 appeared saying "Opening Soon... Tamworth", yet nothing more was ever heard nor to be found for a while...
