Located just off "the" Square in Nottingham and is only a few minutes walk from the other City Centre branch at The Corner House. This means it's very easy to get to by train (Nottingham train station his half a mile walk away) and tram - and also within a 10 minute (max) walk from most car parks, the Castle, the caves and the cinema (Cineworld at The corner House).
Parking: 
Parking is available by the Castle in one of the plentiful parking bays on the side of the road (such as Castle Boulevard). Parking in these bays on a Sunday is only £1 for the first two hours and then 25p for every half hour afterwards. An evening charge from 8pm-8am Monday-Saturday is a flat £1. All of these bays are pay and display and allow payment by phone. There are other car parks, such as Broadmarsh multi-storey, Trinity Square multi-storey and others. The evening rate and hourly charges vary so check before you go.

I came for a takeaway in this place for the first time. I was welcomed by Naomi with a warm friendly welcome and she took me to the till to complete my order then she showed me where to sit while waiting for my order. My order was ready within 15 minutes. Well done Naomi and the team at the back. Keep it up. I will definitely recommend this place to my colleagues and family including anyone who wants to go out for a meal.

Extremely disappointed. Standards have gone down massively. Staff didn’t seem bothered, restaurant tired and dirty. No garlic bread available. Burgers were half the size they used to be. Chicken fell out as bun so small. Ordered medium spice, tasted nothing. Chips were like budget oven fries and were cold. Stopped serving hot drinks! Dirty plates not taken away. Won’t be returning.

Our server Alfie was very friendly and helpful - every time he saw my glass was empty he offered me a a top up and explained the changes to the menu very well!

It was only my friend who had food i jus had a drink but we were made to feel welcome very nice nandos tried nottingham cornerhouse was not up to standard so came to this 1 this time vast improvement

Being in a bit of a difficult place to access by car I parked in the car park on Upper Parliament street and walked down Hurts yard which comes out just opposite the store. The store is in a narrow mock Tudor tall building with large front windows which can let people look out over the area.

The cornerstone of a good Nando's is its impeccably welcoming and lovely staff. To our great delight, upon our arrival at the counter to order food, we had the pleasure of being served by such a staff member. His enthusiastic and accommodating demeanour helped us overcome some of the toughest obstacles we'd faced in a restaurant thus far - lack of sweet mashed potato and excess halloumi conundrums were all effortlessly navigated by this delightful gentleman of the wait staff profession. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to ascertain his identity before he disappeared into the night to save other customers from a similar fate.

HOWEVER. He had dark hair, was roughly 6'0" and the inside of his left forearm was adorned with a long tribal-esque tattoo which we imagine to be given to him upon completion of his grandmasters waiting course. We only hope that, unlike his mythological forefather Icarus, he does not stray too close to the lightbulb so we are able to encounter him again upon any subsequent visits.

You would expect to wait for a table at any Nando's on a Saturday afternoon but a Nando's in the middle of Nottingham's main shopping area... you'd think you were asking for trouble.

We waited about 15 minutes for a table for three, which wasn't too bad at all. The queue to order the food was very short and once we'd ordered the food arrived fairly quickly. It was however, worth the wait. The food was nicely prepared and was still hot when it arrived at the table.

Corn cobs are always huge, sweet and juicy and come with those sticks to hold! They give us massive portions of olives. It's always lovely and clean. The chicken is almost always fresh and juicy and not dry at all. Parking only costs £1.20 which is not expensive.

Even though restaurant very busy staff kept calm and checked how our meals were. Very attentive when asking for extras and enquiring about desserts. Cinema near by. Recieved my first full chicken from my loyalty card and shard it with a work mate. Taste great even better to know it was free. Train station 10 min walk away.

My trip to this branch was one of mixed emotions. It was my sisters birthday and we decided to go out with her friends for her birthday. We hadn't booked and it was a busy saturday night but the staff were very accommodating and very helpful. Once we were seated we went to order our meals. I decided to try the new dish on the menu (coronation double chicken breast or something).
