This was the worst Nando’s I’ve ever been to. We were seated quickly and ordered our food quickly but it took an hour to come. The table and floor were so sticky and smelt. The wait was the same for everyone around us. When the staff brought our food they said we could have a free dessert because it had taken so long. The food was cold. After we finished we ordered desserts (bearing in mind they’re all preprepared) and we waited another half an hour for them to come. I had to complain twice.

We were placed by a very drafty window so spent the whole visit very cold and food went cold quickly. Table was not cleaned. Our Plates were not taken away. We had to ask 3 times for our children's deserts and then they still did not make an effort to take our plates away. So the children ate their deserts with their dirty plates still in front of them.
Very disappointed with the service

Hiya so we visited nandos on Monday evening and all was well staff were polite enough, but one of my friends had ordered halloumi started, as she picked it up there was two short blonde hairs coming from the halloumi, she has long brunette hair so it wouldn’t have been hers, and then my other friend had a wrap and as she bit into it there was a hair which she tried grabbing but it slowly got longer and longer, it was basically wrapped within the wrap!

Absolutely appalling, the food was cold and took over 20 minutes to come! Very crowded and not pleasant to sit in, towards the end of my fucking visit my partners grandmother lent onto an outside gardening chair which was placed into slidy glass like floor indoors?!

Four of us went to Nando’s after some shopping to get a takeaway. The restaurant was busy as it was 6pm on a Friday. The girl at reception was friendly and efficient. The queue was a little long but went down quickly. Nathan the manager took our order at the till. He was helpful and friendly and explained it would take up to 30 min to get our food. We asked for the sauces and when we saw there were not many in the basket he arranged for one of his team to get us more.

Nandos is roughly 10 minute car ride from me.
Myself and my family (including my two grandchildren aged 7 and 10 joined us ) Parking was easy not far from the door.
On entering the busy restaurant we was given a choice of two tables by a polite young lady who escorted us to our chosen seats handing us our menus and also giving the children there menu. (which I thought was a nice touch)

visiting from Manchester 2nd time I have eaten there service was ok apart from one mistake which was resolved very quickly by Georgina who was very polite and sorted everything I eat in nandos all the time in Manchester and ashton under Lyne branch where I come from and can honestly say I would recommend the Merthyr branch to anyone also a mention about Damien one of the waiters who was also very nice

My meal was exceptional. The chips were steaming hot just as I like them, the chicken was lovely and tender. BUT the garlic bread however, WAS ROCK HARD. It was covered in grease and was like eating stone. I regularly come to Nandos and nothing like this has happened before, If this doesn't change I will not be eating here again, maybe it was the lousy garlic bread maker, I wanted to send my meal back but I had already eaten most of the steaming chips. Please improve.

After a 1-1 draw in the most drab football match I have ever watched (between Merthyr Town and Wimbourne FC), my friends and I decided we fancied a nando's, as you do.
This was, as many may say, a 'cheeky' nando's. A long walk through the town centre brought us to the welcoming tune of the Merthyr Tydfil nando's. This nando's is situated next to the vue cinemas, which is handy for a post-film meal.

This store is under the wing of a Vue cinema where it nestles for competition with Harvester, McDonalds and Subway along with a funky looking Chinese restaurant. The leisure complex benefits from a whole host of free parking and is well placed between the A470 and the town centre.
The store was spacious with form benching making a wall around the central seating and table area. Lots of good quality art work decked the walls.

During this visit I tried the butterfly burger. This is a big burger and is very filling. I visit Nandos because of the feel when I walk in. It is lovely and cosy not too warm or cold and you get welcomed and shown to your table straight away and they have lovely background music playing which is lovely and relaxing. Just over 5 mins and a waitress took my order. Not long at all, it gave me time to look at the menu and then I was asked what I wanted to eat today.

Nandos' Merthyr is always amazing when my friends and I visit. It's always incredible service and you're barely sitting down when they're bringing the food! The Merthyr branch spoils us so that when we go to a different Nandos's we pick out faults that aren't really problems-just how they differ from the fabulous food and service at Merthyr Nandos!

Considering how busy the cinema next door is on a Wednesday night, I was surprised that we were able to get a table straight away (although it would've been a bit of a wait if there'd been more than 3 of us). The staff were friendly enough and our food came out without too much wait. There was a huge amount of variation in the size of the portions. I was lucky that my quarter chicken had a good bit of meaty breast in it.

Working in Abergavenny meant my nearest Nando's was about 20 miles away so I knew I'd have to drive to feed my habit - and the nearest place was Merthyr Tydfil.

It's located in the Rhydycar Complex so loads and loads of free parking with a cinema next door - and I think a huge leisure centre as I definitely saw some water slides! Must bring my cozzie next time!
