This was the worst Nando’s I’ve ever been to. We were seated quickly and ordered our food quickly but it took an hour to come. The table and floor were so sticky and smelt. The wait was the same for everyone around us. When the staff brought our food they said we could have a free dessert because it had taken so long. The food was cold. After we finished we ordered desserts (bearing in mind they’re all preprepared) and we waited another half an hour for them to come. I had to complain twice. At one point I could see the plated desserts behind the till (ice cream melting) and they were there for more than 5 minutes before they brought them over. The staff were not apologetic and didn’t care. We were getting up to leave without the desserts when they finally brought them over.
