Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Got to this Nando's at about 1pm on Sunday and the front half was packed but the back half behind the sort of caging was empty - but was full by the time we left!

This Nando's is on Aintree retail park - just a five minute walk from the Racecourse and Aintree train station. There are hundreds and hundreds of free parking spaces too. There are many other eateries and shops here - and Switch Island is about a mile away for an Odeon and Tenpin bowling alley. A new SportsDirectFitness gym and PureGym are also on the retail park.

This is a very new Nando's and it shows. There's a large decking area outside with 8-10 tables and lots of greenery. Inside immediately to your left is a very large waiting/seating area with 25+ small canvas paintings on the wall above it. The first large table infront of you is a circular booth with railings around and its own red chandelier - and then plenty of two/four seater tables with yellow leather chairs. Above most of the seating for the ceiling are several very large woven style discs with lights inset around the edge of these. The counter is also tiled in turquoise nicely.

In the back section, behind the caging, there are plenty more two/four seater tables and a couple of square leather yellow booths. There's some wonderful cladding curving around the wall and making up the ceiling in this section, with some beige/green wooden domes for lampshades. Toilets entrance is also in the back section and they were spotless and fresh - with a big red long sink.

Was claiming another whole chicken and this time, it certainly wasn't as big or as meaty as Bromborough - and was very standard, even bordering on the dry side. The large chips and large rice were both enormous portions however - but both a little on the cold side. I think overall a bog standard 3. It came in 7 minutes - and the staff were doing as expected.
