Thurrock - Lakeside Retail Park

Our waiter wasn’t to bad actually really good helped us with anything we needed her name was Elise she was really helpful and answered all of our questions and she kept on taking our crayons away

The drinks machine is broken and the staff refused to give an alternative. asked for a refund and they only gave us an option to refund £1.20????? very disappointing service! Lady manager is rude and did not even apologised!!!!very disappointing. Even staff cleaning the table kept asking for us to hand in the plates, cutleries etc. Migt as well clean the table myself! such a bad service!!!

I have seen this nandos go really down hill. I’m not sure if you have changed the oil but the chips where burnt and very greasy. The chicken breast was so burnt it was Crispy on the inside. My last three takeaway orders have been incorrect and by the time I had got home I have opened the dinner and realised things are missing so had to spend more money on petrol to go back again.

We ordered 4 different meals/chicken/burgers/etc. Most of our chicken was dry, overcooked and chewy, chips and garlic bread too were over cooked to burnt. We actually left all chips & garlic bread as we would had lost our teeth if we would had eat it. We scrapped & eat a little bits of chicke. We came back home hungry as the food was not edible. Very very disappointed with Nandos this time and my daughters said we should never go back to Nafis ever.

I was served by Phoebe and also helped by Emma, who was very nice and offered to manually put my points on my Nando’s card when it could not be done at the till. Both ladies were very friendly and customer focused. Thank you ladies

We waited 40 minutes for our food and the staff walked passed us and said nothing but went to every other table and asked how there meal was, thought it was quite rude.

This was a great Nando's visit before an evening interpreting job in Beckton. It's situated in a retail with ample free parking and enjoys an incredible amount of natural light from its position on a corner and high ceiling. The funky dangling lighting on the right as you walk in is also fantastic.

Although the food was burnt and we had to wait the staff at this branch outshone any I had ever met! Emma was fantastic and everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Its a bit of an odd layout inside too open for my liking. But you can fall off the M25 just before the Tolls and enjoy some Peri Peri with the car just outside!

Ill be returning for sure.. beats my local Ashford nandos!

Beautiful restaurant. Upon entrance I saw Perri, from Diversity as he was leaving (awesome!).

I really enjoyed the meal and the service was fantastic. The women named Amy, who was servicing customers at the til was excellent. She was multi - tasking I was amazed at this. Very impressive. I think that she deserves to be promoted because she has quality, presence, people skills and manners. You don't see this all of the time.

Thurrock Nando's is located on Lakeside Retail Park, not to be confused with Lakeside Shopping Centre (also known as The Boardwalk). Between the two retail centres there is just about every shop, outlet, supermarket and eatery you can think of - with a cinema nearby too, so plenty of things to see. This Nando's is right by a Tesco, so head for that and you can't miss it - and thousands of free parking spaces right outside or within a few minutes walk.

Very popular Nanado's, have been twice now and both times the food tasted great, this Nando's is within a retail park, so parking is right outside and free.

This was an excellent visit; the staff were friendly and the food was excellent quality and served very quickly.

This will be the last time I review this Nando's as I seem to visit it every other week! However, as ever, the food was good, no waiting, big and airy, great staff, great attitude. All that is good with Nando's.

One thing of note that is new - we all tried desserts. Best of the lot was the Carrot Cake. Caramel Cheesecake very nice but a little small in comparsion.

Normal v god service given. 2 portions of half chicken orders for 2 adults. Both portions VERY different in size. Why is this always the case? Children very happy with their Nandinos meals.

LOVE the Haloumi cheese. Double portion.

Overall this was a nice nandos experience. Our party of 5 was seated immediately on a very large table with plenty of room. Our food came very quickly and the order was correct. The food was very delicious but the portion sizes were very small which was an unfortunate negative point! My chicken in pitta was mainly pitta as the chicken portion was tiny. My friend had a wrap and it contained only 3 or 4 cubes of chicken - just not satisfying enough for his belly!
