A Five-Star Spicy Delight in Stoke-on-Trent!
I recently enjoyed a fantastic dining experience at the Nando's situated in the Intu Potteries shopping centre in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Staff seem more interested in talking amongst themselves the restaurant was dirty and very well unkempt it's to expensive to be ignored and given cold food.

Thank you Nando’s stoke potteries centre for being so accommodating to my families needs today during Ramadan. Not only did you make sure our food came out ready to the minute our fast opened and offered dates to break our fast. You also provided a nice clean area for my dad to pray! Thank you these small gestures go a very long way! It definitely restores our faith in humanity!

I had a chicken pita with the new smokey carasco sauce with a side of spiced rice, a pineapple ring and rainbow slaw. The food was really tasty, chicken was very tender and nicely marinated in the sauce, the sauce was spicy but not too spicy that it ruined the taste and everything had so much flavour. Service was really good, Rob was especially friendly and I could tell straight away that he was the supervisor as he acted professional and was focusing on the customers and their needs.

We ate half a chicken with rice chips garlic bread and cokes food was was lovely but my only complaint is why is blue light card not accepted at nandos as we are all part of the emergency response teams ie police fire ambulance army yet you only accept the nhs card when we all worked together through our countries pandemics.

We booked a table for 9 and on arrival it soon became apparent that we would all not fit around the table. Brandon the manager came over to see us and organised a table upstairs for us which was closed off and made sure that we were looked after while we were there. This was a double birthday party meal and Brandon went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening.

Felt the staff though noticeably understaffed didn’t really want to be there not much communication.
Sat watching the food bar and the boy and girl seemed to just be messing about with a full side of food being ignored.

Our first visit to a Nando's and I was curious as to what all the fuss was about. However, when we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by a very polite and curtious young lady who went on to explain the menu in detail. The food was fabulous and the service outstanding. Will definitely be going again soon.

A visit to the brand new Stoke Nando's was the highlight of a relatively successful day in which Arsenal managed to avoid defeat at the Britannia stadium.

Lovely restaurant, I do like how all the restaurants are decorated differently! Greeted immediately and given the choice of table.
I chose the livers (no surprise there), my friend had the butterfly chicken burger and we shared a few sides. Food came out quickly and was hot, and of course very tasty!
Very well looked after by Jim & Joe.
Loads of parking nearby.

OK it was really busy and only just opened but it was not good. Staff were rushed and panicky, not one smile, floor manager was very rude to his staff. Opening nerves you can put that down to, you cannot excuse overcooked dry chicken though. Two of us had butterfly chicken, much smaller than other nandos and really dry so much so you couldn't eat some parts. My son had half a chicken which wasn't dry but tasteless he had it medium but said it didn't taste of anything.

So the wait is finally over and Stokies have their Nando's! No more driving to Derby, Manchester or Birmingham... they can instead all go "up Hanley Duck"... and up Hanley I'm sure they will go in their thousands! Thanks to the very kind chap Jim, I got to go to one of the practice days just before this Nando's opened.
