Stevenage - Leisure Park

We visited Nando’s leisure park branch Stevenage on 2/7/22 and waited for 1 hr for our order. People next to our table got their orders and we approached 3 attendants about our order.
I approached the manager Kevin about the order and he said the order was 20 min ago. I showed him the bill timing and he said your bill time is different order was placed 20 min ago.
1. It is not my bill it is Nando’s bill.

The manager that was on tonight was so rude we had to send our food back as it was wrong, it got changed no problem but after that we had the staff walking past our table giving us dirty looks even the manager done it a few times safe to say i wont be returning.
The chips tasted like they had been cooked in old fat wasnt nice at all.

Our 6 year old fell over some paving slaps in the complex car park and cut his arm quiet badly. We asked the lady who was front of house for a plaster and she said she didn't have one big enough, a lovely young lad named callum overheard and quickly got a sterile wipe and bandage and sat my son down calmed him right down and really reassured him he wouldn't hurt him with the wipe etc and dressed his wound for him.

The Nando's in Stevenage is in a great location, with lots of different activities around it (ie, cinemas, bowling etc.). One of the reason we choose go to this branch of Nando's is because there is free parking and it's within easy reach of where we live. Cambridge is about the same distance but you have to pay to park. The quality of food and the service that we receive when we visit is fantastic. It's a great place to go with the family.

Stevenage Nandos is extremely easy to travel to via train and this is exactly what I did. The main Stevenage train station (Kings Cross to Peterborough line) is right next to Stevenage Leisure Park where the is a cineworld, a Hollywood bowl and a whole range of restaurants - importantly including a Nandos.

A very nice Nandos in a busy retail park! Very close to other restaurants, a cinema, a bowling alley and a couple of clubs. Plenty of parking. I ate half a chicken with chips and mash. The perfect fuel before a Stevenage FC game!!

Quite disappointing approx 10 members of staff mainly chatting to each other. Many of the girls had long hair swishing around in the food prep area. Floor dirty. Tables dirty. Beer warm. Food sat on the hot plate for approx 7-10 mins before it was bought to our table hence luke warm food. No one asked how our meal was the chicken remained on our table throughout the meal. Chef licking his fingers, coughing on hands and not washing his hands before handling food.

Stevenage: Excitement quickly turned to disappointment as this previously high performing branch failed to live up to expectations.

Having previously been to this branch in the summer and being very impressed, I expected similar on this Nando's + cinema trip.
The branch wasn't quite as busy as I thought it would be, and I suspect this was because it was bonfire night. As a result, we were seated straight away, and there was no queue to order.
