Quick drive down to this relatively new Nando's on a Saturday evening. There was plenty of parking space in this complex that also has a huge Cineworld and other restaurants. It's close to the local Asda also if anyone wanted to do their shopping then head over for dinner.
The restaurant was nearly full. Gemma and myself were able to get a 6 seater booth for the two of us near the front of the branch. It's on a bend so looking out the window gives quite a large view.
Ordering could have been better. There were two people at the till and four people waiting and they had phone orders also. All sorted we sat down but the table next to us were moaning they waited 40 minutes for their food and wanted the manager. My food took about 16-18 minutes which was okay seeing how busy it was. And at least it wasn't 40.
The chicken was well cooked and juicy, the mash could have been a bigger portion with a bit more flavour and the garlic bread could have done with more time... but at least it was not rushed.
The branch is mostly clean, they always are when they are new. A lot of decorations hanging from the ceiling and there's solid lighting in some parts but not all. It was busy so that's good for a Saturday night, there was a large birthday party of maybe 15 people and a celebration cake. Good start.
