Slough - High Street - Pompey Ranger Review
This is my 100th UK Nando's store that I've been to and it didn't disappoint. The store is on the high street on the corner of The Grove where we were able to get free on street parking after 5pm. The store is under a modern building but is very well kept and painted on the outside and has a covering over the pavement around the perimeter.
The store was quite empty when we went in and we were able to pick a table we had spotted through the window as we walked round. The booths were bright and colourful and there was a high level of quality decoration around the store mixing artwork, murals and tiled features. A lot of colour inside. The store soon filled up with people till the point there was a queue at the door and it appears to be a Halal store with a lively atmosphere.
Our chicken took a little while to come out and we were quite impatient for it after a long day but when it did it was cooked to perfection and deliciously succulent, plenty of sauce and a real treat. The chips were also very well cooked and a good generous portion. We all commented on how much we enjoyed it and how stuffed we were at the end. Really good value at this store. The staff were friendly and checked on us regularly and made sure everything was ok. Chicken a true high light.
The cleanliness levels in store were good as well and the manager wished us well as we left. Definitely recommend a visit to this store.
