Shepherds Bush - Anonymous Review

My grandson decided to take me to lunch we decide that a cheeky Nandos would be great so we went to the restaurant on the Uxbridge Road in Shepherd's Bush. When our order came the waitress literally threw the food on the table. So much so the Perry salt sprinkled on my dress and some chips also fell on me. I looked at her and was too stunned for words. She looked at me and walked off so I asked to speak to the manager. The Assistant Manager Farrow came and he was already annoyed, even before I spoke to him. I told him I've been coming here for years and I've never had my food thrown at me before. I was so upset because the waitress didn't even apologise. I said 'If I was a Caucasian woman she wouldn't have treated me like this'. As soon as I said this he told me to get up and get out. He asked the waitress to bring take away boxes so we can take our food and leave. My grandson who is normally quite placid became very upset and asked for his money back because we no longer wanted the food. He said we should leave immediately or he will call the police. I cannot explain the humiliation I felt. It was supposed to be a lovely day with my grandson who wanted to use some of his wages from his first job to treat his grandma. We ended going to Chipotle in the end.
