Park Royal - Ryan Review
Pulled into this Nando's on my way back up North at about 3pm and it was almost full! It's located on Royale Leisure Park which is only accessible off the A40 going Westbound (so don't miss the Concourse turnoff) and then also make sure you don't miss the small, white road sign saying Leisure Park when you do go Westbound. On the leisure park is a PureGym, TenPin bowling alley and a Vue cinema all accompanied by free parking. Nando's is also a five minute walk from Park Royal tube station (which you'll pass if you're driving).
This is a standard Nando's in decor, but certainly not in space! All the seating is spaced out (compared to normal). As you enter over towards the back/left are eight square booths, a large sauce/drinks station and the entrance to the toilets (which are also spacious). To your right from the entrance are plenty of table/chair sets with three large circular booths against the wall. There are a few pieces of artwork, but generally the decor is the dark brown furniture, with light brown wooden-clad ceiling with brown/beige paint on the walls. Nice layout - just standard decor.
Even with it being as busy as it was the food only took four minutes to come - and unlike Stroud Green, it was actually cooked! I had the chicken fillet burger and chips and it was a nice meal. The fillet was an average size, but piping hot, with an average sized tomato slice and lettuce - and the portion of chips were hot and crispy enough and an average size. Nothing bad, just nice and as expected.
Staff were pleasant but did everything expected of them.
