Orpington - Ryan Review

With a long drive from Folkestone to Lowestoft - what better way to break up the drive than a tasty Nando's??

This Nando's is located on Nugent Shopping Park, which is a shopping based retail park(Next, M&S, Debenhams etc). There is free parking onsite with some 400 spaces.

Palace Superbowl is in the town centre but your nearest cinema is in Bromley. St Mary Cray train station is half a mile walk away.

Arrived here at about 6pm and only a few tables were in use, so no wait at all and the food came in 7 minutes.

The food was very tasty as well. A very meaty breast piece indeed (and a leg too) that was piping hot and moist right to the bone. There was plenty of sauce too - but maybe could have done with a tad more to get full marks! :-) The chips were hot and crispy and the rice was nice and hot too. Delicious!

This branch is a good size (with an automatic door at the entrance!). The ceiling is all wooden clad with a couple of width-ways strips of led lighting illuminating the ceiling. There are also several wicker orbs which gave out little light. There are wooden carvings above the booths down the left hand wall - but the artwork is seemingly all crammed into one corner wall, right at the front in the corner. There is more space towards the back with several booths but at the front the tables/chairs are a bit tight. Toilets were spotless. Overall a 3.

Staff were pleasant enough but doing as expected.
