Old Street - jackie molyneux Review
We visited the very recently opened branch of Nando, in Old Street, for the RYN reviewer dinner.
Our allotted space was in the basement section of the branch, with two tills situated at the back.
After our raffle, and free starters of wing roulette and hummus, we headed off to order. This caused a slight queue at the tills, for obvious reasons. One of the very enthusiastic and helpful staff suggested we head upstairs to place our orders, as it was quieter up there.
My food was absolutely delish. I ordered Extra Hot, as usual, and **HURRAH** it was indeed extra hot. Sadly I failed to get the 20% discount, but I waited for the queue at the till to lessen and then queried this, and it was easily sorted. All the staff were very attentive and smiley and approachable, they checked several times if everything was ok and that everyone had their food. The tables were cleared promptly.
The decoration and artwork is very eye-catching. The whole wall, in the section we occupied, was covered in weird gigantic wooden “Maltesers.” The lamp pendants are like uncovered old-fashioned crinolines!!! And the last booth, on the right, towards the downstairs till has the most hideous scary artwork (in my opinion).
Ladies toilets are very clean
