Had a big party eating here on Wednesday, one member of staff (woman, manager type) was accommodating. But other staff members were rude, not accommodating, not going above and beyond for customers and disrespectful

Went to Nando's riverside late February but completely forgot to review it, but I needed to add a comment about a lovely young for that served me and my family. She had long blonde hair and short, she made us feel very comfortable she spoke to my kids and made them feel happy. Been to Nando's a lot but this was one of the best experiences. Shame I didn't get her name.

There's nothing quite like your first time. The excitement, the nerves and of course, blindly choosing the spice level. So this was my first Nando's experience and despite being Portuguese I had never visited the restaurant famous for its African-Portuguese cuisine. My friend was an expert and knew what do and where to go. Gladly, the staff were helpful in taking us to a table and answering my questions about the menu.

We rang beforehand to book because it was a birthday meal for the nine year old son of my partner. We told them we were bringing 9-10 people. They said just arrive at 1130-1215 as it's usually quiet at that time.

We duly arrived at 12. It was jam-packed. We informed them of the advice. We were warned it would be about 25 minutes until we would be seated.

45 minutes later we were seated and offered free soft drinks (I'd gone to a nearby Costa to get drinks while we waited).

A pre-match Nando's was on the cards after a 2 hour drive over from London. Parking in the multi-storey car park is free for up to 4 hours if you get your ticket validated at the cinema which is what we managed to do.

There are many other eateries in the vicinity of this pedestrianised city centre which is just a couple of minutes away from Norwich train station and Carrow Road stadium.

We arrived in Norwich by train on a Sunday morning for Nando's #62. The Riverside restaurant was about a 5 minute walk from the station, and nearby a bowling alley, Wetherspoons, and the array of other chain restaurants that tend to populate these areas. Despite arriving just after opening , the place was almost entirely full. This was due to a local home football match about to take place. A group of footie fans that entered just before us were told that the wait will be 45 minutes.

We were the first in there, banging down the door at 11:30 and we were not disappointed.
Fowl is a misnomer as this sumptuous meal hit the spot better than 9 out of 10 Portuguese themed & South African owned, chicken restaurants.

Me and my 11 children attended this restaurant for mine and my husbands 25th anniversary. Our cultural differences were taken into account and we were not treated differently, we were respected and understood by the helpful and polite young staff. We had 3 tables pulled together as we are a very large indian family! we were greeted and served very warmly, we felt special and recognised. the atmosphere and food was great. see you soon!

Nandos Riverside is lovely, the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Even though the restaraunt was busy, the staff were always prepared to take a second to make me and my young family feel special. The kids were handed crayons and colouring in to keep them amused, they were delivered their food first which helped us feel relaxed when waiting for mine. The decorations were warm and created a lovely ambience, along with the music at the correct volume.

Second Nando's of the night took me to the Norwich Riverside. As I'd already parked at the Castle Mall, I walked from here - especially as it was less than a 10 minute walk. I wish I'd driven now though as I was sweating buckets in the humidity after I got there! :-)

The staff here looked upon me and my chum with bewilderment and gleeful acceptance when we ordered a full platter between us, asking 'Did you guys not know what you were ordering?!?' Also, they happily cleaned up my unlimited re-spill.
