Not up to the usual standard I’m afraid! I don’t mind waiting a bit, but when the restaurant is more geared up to serving the delivery side of the business than those sat inside it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. A bit like the fries - whether the oil needed changing, or the fries had been sat for a while, they were limp and a bit stale tasting.

The worst Nando’s (and that it’s put lightly) I’ve been in, the service was crap, no one bothered to come to us to tells us what to do to order or to help in anyway. I wish I could go back in time and go with my original food thought… Burger King! I think it will be a very long time before I visit or recommend Nando’s.

Go get McDonalds or Burger King or for best chicken go get a KFC.

I had so called fillet steak. A skinny piece of meat so thin as to no way cook it as rare. VERY poor value for money, and I will never go to a Nando again.

Whilst in Maidstone, it seemed rude not to pop in to the local Nando's, and give it a whirl.

The second of three free meals this weekend and maybe the worst? I'm not saying the food was crap, but compared to the other two, waiting time, delivery and service it was the worst.

We travelled less than an hour out of London for the 88th Nando’s. Parking in a spacious multi-story car park in the centre of Maidstone. It was an early Sunday afternoon and the despite the Nando’s only having been open for half an hour, they were already bustling and didn’t have space to immediately accommodate our group of seven adults and three kids. With a wait time of half an hour, we strolled up the road to an empty pub and had a drink in their beer garden.

I go with various members of my family to The Maidstone Nandos at least once a week, we nearly always have the full platter with fries, rice and garlic bread. It's a well decorated, friendly place with a chilled atmosphere and staff that recognise us and have a chat and this makes us feel very welcome. The prices are good and as well as being delicious food this helps us to be able to eat out regularly.

Finally my 100th branch! I couldn't let the occasion go unrecognised, so I thought I would travel a bit further from home. I had a play with our new directions page LINK and narrowed it down to Norwich, King's Lynn, Peterborough, Canterbury, Bluewater and Maidstone; all towns I either haven't visited in a long time or at all. Wikipedia's page on Maidstone made it look quite nice, so that was the choice. I was on my way to my 100th branch!

Went to this branch a few times back in October/November 2009 - generally always from 8pm onwards. I was local so was able to use the customers car park and walk into town each night time, so I didn't pay too much attention to the parking available - but with it being based around the town centre, I'd imagine there are places available.
