Lewisham - jackie molyneux Review

It was a major trek by bus and 3 trains to this branch of Nandos in Lewisham. We arrived just before 5 on a Saturday afternoon and the branch was very busy. We had to wait a while before a member of staff showed us to our table. This was one of just a few free tables, and it soon became obvious why it was free. It was so drafty, from the water/ice machine behind Gerry and the window directly behind me.
Only ONE till was manned, at 5pm??? On a Saturday ? And I was not permitted to split my free half chicken reward into two different spice levels.
Soon after we’d ordered, a large number of staff suddenly appeared, so maybe we were just unlucky??
The majority of my food arrived, but the halloumi was delayed, as per usual. No idea why this nearly always happens with this particular side order? The missing cheese was soon located though. The food was delicious, the sweet potato mash was exceptionally lovely, but the extra hot chicken could’ve been spicier. But that’s just me. Sorry.
It’s a very clean branch, the main section is split into two sections, however we didn’t venture upstairs so not sure of the size of that area. The loos are downstairs. The Ladies could do with some TLC, one wall has a massive ‘kick’ hole in the plaster.
