I decided that Wednesday would be the day i embarked on my first Nando's meal. it had been recommended by a friend who could not believe I hadn't been before. I was looking forward to losing my Nando's virginity and entered feeling excited and happy. However it only took 5 seconds for my spirit to being ruined. I stood at the front of the restaurant waiting for a staff member to come speak to me, and a nandos worker walked straight past me a couple of times before a lovely women came and showed me to our seats and explained to me and my friend what happens when ordering a meal.

Unfortunately the area i was seated in was the same section that the rude co-worker who ignored me at the entrance was working on. I ordered a butterfly chicken which was cooked to perfection and was a meal that i rate very highly. Unfortunately the meal wasn't the problem, the worker was. The worker named James with blonde/brown hair was asked by my friend to replace a dirty glass, the worker who did not even respond at all just took the glass, whilst watching him we saw that all he did was wipe the glass with a cloth that had been used to wipe other tables down. He then returned the glass without saying anything again. I do apologise if the worker had problems speaking but we were shocked in the fact he did not replace the glass just tried cleaning it with a dirty cloth. Totally disgusted and confused we went to ask another member of staff to replace the glass, she then did it correctly.

Whilst walking out of nandos I felt confused and upset by the poor service. I was weighing up whether I would come again, however this same waiter's bad service sealed the deal, he was the last member of staff we walked past and we were clearly leaving he did not say thank you, bye or anything along them lines.

It is a shame that a awful Co-worker shines such bad light on what seemed like a great company. I shall not be returning to nandos again. This worker showed no hope and looked to lack most skills a waiter would need, I thought they would try get customers to return I got it wrong.
