So, onto my third burger and chips and I decided on a bit of a walk up to Kilburn. It's a bit of a dive, but with all these takeaways and pound shops, Nando's stands out as a high-class joint.

It's only a few minutes walk from Kilburn tube stop and just round the corner from Brondesbury Overground stop.

The restaurant is very plain and looks like an early one. A couple of brightly coloured canvasses at the back but generally very plain walls and very few fixtures/fittings that were not dark brown. The lighting mainly consisted of two dark brown chandeliers. There was a rather fetching chilli mosaic on the floor and a decent mix of seating - but overall, distinctly average.

Just a couple of tables in use when I arrived here at 5pm so no wait and the food came in under five minutes... and yet again... sadly, the spice on the burger was pretty much missing! At least this time the chips were hot and crispy and the ciabatta was crispy - but a long and thin piece of chicken meat dipped in mayonnaise and a tiny dab of peri sauce let things down a little.

Staff were again pleasant enough and doing as expected.
