The 6th RYN Reviewer Event ran very smoothly with 23 attendees including many old faces (special shout out to Rosanna who has attended all 6 events so far) and some new ones too. The biggest RYN raffle ensued once almost everyone had arrived (don't wait for Spanish or Italians like José Carlos Díaz or Lara obviously or you could be waiting a while!) and 4 Nando's prizes were given out. Just like at Reviewer Event 4, Olive was victorious and came away with a bottle of Garlic Peri Sauce, the two combo meals went to Charlotte Middleton and Rosanna (her 3rd free meal out of her last 4 Reviewer Events) and the full platter was destroyed by Adam and his lovely wife Katie who is 6 months pregnant and needs all the chicken she can get!

The Nandocas did their best to accommodate us in the Nando's spirit, food arrived quickly and everyone seemed happy! I sure raised eyebrows with my order which was a prego steak roll for the first time ever due to having had Nando's for lunch too. I must say it was excellent and the pineapple complemented it particularly well. It won't become a regular for me but I know it's an option I like if I fancy mixing it up! I don't remember it being at all spicy and it was supposed to be extra hot but that wasn't a problem either!

The only problems experienced were the temperamental water machine which had a filter issue and at times it meant you had to wait up to 10 minutes to fill up your glass and the lack of frozen yoghurt was very disappointing for several members of the party!

As for the branch itself, it is a 2 minute walk from Holborn tube and there are some pubs in the area (but none show football) including a Wetherspoon. The chilli lighting just above the part of the restaurant which we took over is particularly impressive and the three lights that run down the middle of the restaurant are also rather eye-catching.

All in all, another successful event was had and we look forward to the next one in June or July! Remember that to be eligible, you must have done a review since the last event attended!
