The service standard was very poor. We ordered starters and mains but they were all served at the same time. I had to get a refund on my starter as I didn’t want to eat it at the same time. The staff didn’t tell us about the place where the napkins and cutlery were kept so had to keep asking. Won’t be returning

Nando's number 45 for me
Turn right from Gloucester Road Tube Station and it’s a short walk up on the left-hand side.
This is a very busy branch, although we got a table almost immediately, upstairs. Masses of people milling around by the door/tills, making it difficult to gain access to the stairs. Managed to fight our way through the pushchairs, eventually.

While I was at the restaurant, myself and my friends were served by a trainee waiter called Elnor, he was very quick and very polite when he served the food and answered any queries my friends had. My friends phone had also died when we got to the restaurant and She asked Elnor if he had a charger he replied yes and then went and got it for us. This is what made the restaurant stand out for us.

Nando's 101 for me, and Gloucester Road was selected as I was already in the area, travelling from Paddington to Victoria.

Change of plans brought me to this branch but it wasn't the best. A to minute walk from South Kensington station brought me up along the side of the restaurant based on Gloucester Road.

We came to this nandos having previously visited one in brixton. In the one in brixton the food was so late we complained and we had been given a voucher.
When we entered the one in gloucester it was a different story! The service was great, they took our voucher even though it was meant to be just for brixton. The serving was a but slow, but they were busy. The manager Joe was really friendly and they had mango frozen yoghurt!

Gloucester Road Nando's is just about a stone's throw away from the tube station (look right from the station exit; served by Circle & District lines and usually Picc too, but temporarily not-stopping due to upgrade works) and it's quite a pretty corner branch with especially nice lighting inside. It's a two-level branch but I didn't go upstairs.

Arrived at this Nando's just after opening on a Saturday morning and so needless to say I was the only person in here, so no wait and the food came in 7 minutes. Had a chicken filet burger and chips and it was very nice. The fillet was an average size but cooked nicely, was layered in sauce and a huge slice of tomato and lettuce filled it up nicely. The chips were hot and crispy and fresh out the fryer.

Great food but our server was a trainee and kept messing up other tables orders. Our order was perfect... but it took over 50 minutes for the food to arrive! When it did finally come, however, it was delicious.

On a recent trip to London with a colleague who was a Nandos virgin we were lucky enough to find this branch close to our hotel.

As it was walking distance we didn't need to consider parking, though from what we noted a there was only on street parking.

Good service, everything arrived quickly and cooked perfectly.

Always provides very quick service with good natured staff. I've never had to wait long for a table here, even when eating with large groups. Also has very nice decor and is well located right next to Gloucester Road tube station. One of my favourite Nandos.

In the morning after the long trip up from Portsmouth I arrived at the store at 11:45 to a warm welcome. Situated in a swanky part of town, in a short stumbling distance of the V and A museum and the Natural History museum with tesco's express, waitrose and a kfc close by. However due to is location Parking is nigh on impossible. There is a broadish Patio along 2 sides which is separated from the pavement with low fencing which i assume is used for seating in summer.

My first visit to Gloucester Road branch, and I wasn't quite sure what to expect based on previous reviews. I arrived from Gloucester Road station, and the Nando's was very easy to find and looked very nice from the outside. This is of course one of the most affluent areas of London (possibly THE most), and I suppose it therefore cannot afford to not look the part. The high-quality decor was continued inside, and turned out to be the only thing this Nando's had going for it.

Walking in at 8, we initially realized the restaurant was about 50% full.

We were told we'd have to wait for a while to be seated before someone realized they did have space immediately.

As we waited for some friends, we went to order some drinks. This took quite a while as only one person seemed prepared to man the till.

Great restaurant - staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Very close to where I live and very close to its nearby tube station. Imperial College London is nearby and students regularly take advantage of student offers.

I think this was the best meal I had in London when referring to franchised restaurants. The place was very well decorated, friendly people and of course a portuguese taste to remember home. The food was really good and the fries with peri-peri were a fabulous suggestion (thanks Marc), otherwise I would never have tried them.
Free refill beverages is also something to point out, because it was the only restaurant I noticed that.

When it was confirmed that there would be 7 of us visiting this Nando's on a Thursday lunchtime, I decided to phone the branch around an hour before our arrival to check availability and they kindly said they would keep a table for us which may not be that case at other branches.
