Very disappointed in the food - not because of the staff. The plant based strips have been replaced by a disgusting, slimy “fillet.” Felt like I was eating Quorn 15 years ago. I took three bites to try and like it but couldn’t stomach it. I hate food waste but I genuinely wouldn’t feed that to a stray dog. I am baffled that this is the replacement for the strips which were great. Nando’s has definitely gone backwards. I won’t be returning unfortunately as there is really nothing else exciting on the menu for vegetarians or vegans. Please bring back the strips. The toilets at The Fort are utterly vile. Staff are always really nice here.
