Derby - Derbion - Anonymous Review

We visited after having a new born baby. Whilst dining I accidentally knocked a Nando’s sauce bottle across the table onto the floor whilst picking up a glass. This had unfortunately smashed all over the table and floor next to my newborns car seat. Luckily our baby was in my husbands arms across the table. I was very over whelmed as it is as a new mum again and had eaten half my food. I felt awful but the staff rushed over and told me not to worry they cleaned it right up and offered to replace my whole meal as glass may have gone in and they told me not to touch any of the mess or sauce as they would take care of it. One lady used her bear hands and brushed over the car seat to feel for any glass even though it may have harmed her hand if there had been. They were ever so kind and empathetic. I was extremely grateful for how calm they were and kind. The girls were great and made me and my family feel at ease. I asked for my food to be packed which they did so quickly and even offered me starters to take to which I refused as it’s not something I had originally ordered and only wanted to take what I paid for as it was my mistake. This is the second time in Nando’s we have had exceptional service and had a similar experience 10 years ago with my first child as a newborn. They are exceptional with family’s and parents. Mistakes like this happen but the way they helped and made us feel will always stay with us just like the event that happen 10 years ago which we still talk about. We are so happy with the experience and I just had to leave a review. Thankyou Nando’s derby for being amazing!!!
