Had double chicken breast pitta - looked like only 1 piece, waiter "kindly" pointed out the second was obscured by slaw (both pieces were tiny) - small portion of fries and combo of pitiful portion and high price for what is essentially fast food - terrible value and the whole order at the counter smacks of school canteen. My son had wrap which was really tiny and at over £10 outrageously poor value.

We just happened to mention to Ryan the manager that we were on a date night, celebrating our anniversary and 9 years married together.

He went above and beyond to make our evening special. The food was first class. The service spot on and friendly.

To top it all off Ryan even insisted on offering us both deserts on the house! What a guy!

We will definitely return.

Food came fast as always however the woman that served us completely ignored us many times as she walked past. We paid for extra sauces and never got any of them,when trying to ask her she just walked right past and she never even came back after serving us to ask how the food was,she did not look happy at all. Lost out on a few pound of sauces because she was ignoring us even though we had already paid for them.

What better after a freezing day up the Cheviots than some spicy chicken? I stopped in on this Nando's around 4pm on a Sunday and was surprised to see it almost empty. It's located on the Manor Walks Shopping Centre, by the Vue cinema. Head for the Sainsbury's and you'll see the Vue. There are hundreds of free parking spaces right outside and Cramlington train station is only half a mile walk away.

This store the first in Northumbria (Newcastle is tyne and wear) in the new Town of Cramlington, like Milton Keynes or Bracknell but less well known and far less charm was a tad late opening hence me having to do a second trip to the northeast. Satnavs have trouble finding the store or post code or Vue cinema next door , but if you head to the concordia leisure centre it is not far away.
