Coventry - City - ChloeLouise19 Review
I have been to Nando's after the date mentioned; but this Nando's visit was the most memorable. My school, Bluecoat in Coventry, had just hosted a play that was put on by the 15, 16 and 17 year olds of Coláiste Choilm in Cork. The school thought it would be a good idea to take the party of 36; 18 Irish and 18 Coventrians, to Nando's as a sort of after party for finishing the play. As there is no Nando's in Cork, the Irish troupe were keen to see what all the fuss was about, as we'd spoken of Nando's so highly.
First impressions; very good. Everyone loved their Peri-Peri chicken and service was A*, and because we were the only group in Nando's at half 10 that night, the staff at Nando's were very keen to why there was such a big party and why we ventured out so late. After explaining, the staff smiled and someone mentioned that they'd love to do the Harlem Shake. Without another word, the staff agreed to let us 'shake it' on the tables. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZm3TPcedA0
Well, the totally topped off the evening, everyone was buzzing, and as well as being the first people to EVER Harlem Shake in Nando's, I personally thought it was so cool that they'd actually allowed us to go ahead with it...
Even now the Harlem Shake and Nando's visit is remembered with fondness and laughter.
Thanks Nando's, the Irish went home and had a positive view of Nando's and that it was probably the coolest restaurant EVER.
