A hostile dispute over missing Halloumi Sticks. The two male diners in the booth next ours became disgruntled with a female line chef who did not serve all the food they asked for. The men were spoken down too and aggressively provoked by the line chef in question. One man said to her attitude is appalling she replied I don’t care and went up to his companion who was by that time at the till asking for a refund. The line chef approached the man at the till antagonising him gesturing at him to hit her in a sarcastic tone she then immaturely said your mother in response to him swearing at her - saying you are fucking shit at your job. The men then stormed out upon receiving a refund for the Hollumi fries. Me my partner and her child witnessed the whole confrontation as we were seated in between the two men and the till. I feel that it ruined our experience and shook up the child. I have been a patron of Nando’s for approximately 25 years regularly attending Nando’s Ealing Common with my late mother long before it became the thriving franchise it is today.
