Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
I came in on Thursday with my girlfriend and it was a terrible experience. The Nandos itself was nicely decorated and the staff were very nice. However the food was horrible. My girlfriend ordered the chicken thighs and I ordered the butterfly chicken and both were raw. When eating the chicken she noticed she felt off about it and was instantly feeling quite sick so after she came back from the bathroom she turned it over to notice instead of being firm the bottom was very squishy. She cut inside the piece and it was clearly pink and had no firmness or even looked cooked. She pointed out to me that the person making the chicken was about 17. While I understand that it’s a new restaurant it’s important that some standard is in place as the meal altogether came to 26 quid which isn’t bad but for uncooked chicken it is. Wouldn’t recommend eating here until there is some more training. We could’ve came in at a bad time or bad day when they were just testing out new staff but it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
