This store is in the Mailbox centre amongst a Cinema and the BBC centre complete with a visitor centre directly opposite the store. There was a small line of tables in the Mall but i hate the idea of siting in a shopping centres to eat. But i was very happy to go inside to eat, they even put the air conditioning on for me as i was sweltering.

Out of the various Nando's branches in the West Midlands the Nando's in the Birmingham Mailbox is my favourite, and it did not let me down this time. As usual, the staff were very friendly and the food was served swiftly.

It just goes to show it doesn't hurt trying something new every once in a while. Whilst small, this branch stands out on service and food and cleanliness. The same lady who greeted me helped me order my food and was very patient with my first time. She then brought my food over in ten minutes and i know she meant it when she said she hoped I would enjoy it.

A solid nandos. Staff were really friendly and complimented my xmen t-shirt! The restaurant was clean and about half full, the speed of service was excellent considering it was not a busy time. The food was very good too although a few more chips would of been expected. The glass for my drink was not warm, a great bonus.

The mailbox has a nice feel to it at night. Very relaxing.

I happily chowed down half a chicken with a side of mushy peas and spicy rice. The meal left meal at just the right level of contentment as I planned the latter parts of my evening drinking excessive amounts of cheap alcohol, flirting with drunk girls but most importantly having a laugh with the boys at 305 Dawlish.

If Carlsberg did house mates...

The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful - they were really welcoming and made the visit extra special for my daughters' birthdays.
We found free on street parking round the corner from the back entrance to the Mailbox.

An excellent Nando's for an evening meal. The lighting is particularly impressive and the lively Mailbox Shopping Complex is in one of the most aesthetically pleasing parts of Birminghams. Why not go for a walk down by the canals to walk off your Nando's after?

Parking in the Mailbox itself is steep at £4 for 2 hours but there are other car parks which cost around half the price.

Well it is fair to say that despite wanted to park at the cheaper car-park right next to the Mailbox, the cost only came to £1 each which all in all wasn't too bad!

This Nandos trip took place on a lazy Saturday afternoon for lunch, to break up the day from revision.

News had also spread that one of my friends was working as part of the Nandos team - a great opportunity therefore to check the place out!

A large group of us arrived and had to sit on the tables outside the restaurant as inside was too busy. This was fine except the waitress didnt arrange the tables for us, or even get us the extra chairs! She seemed VERY unimpressed that we arrived. Once we arranged the tables ourselves we went up to the counter to order where the staff were very friendly and chatty. The table with cutlery etc was full of everything including sauces etc.

This Nando's is located in the Mailbox complex - which is probably the more "exclusive" of shopping centres within Birmingham (Ab Fab and Harvey Nics and all that) - and so the parking prices are also slightly more expensive than say the Bull Ring or Edgbaston Street (New Street Station is only a few minutes walk away too), but if you are going to one of the bars at the back of the Mailbox anyway (such as Bar Room Bar) then be sure to stop off for a Nando's!

Nando´s not only offers a good service with a great meal, but also beautiful and lively places such as the one at the Mailbox. Its strategic location lets people enjoy tasty chicken after a fun afternoon of shopping or a relaxed and romantic walk near the canals.
