Very easy to get to I do love travelling by DLR to Nando's. Only just remembered that I made us get off the train at the wrong stop but once I asked a stranger for directions we were on our way again at Heron Quay.
Never been to Woolwich before that I remember but i would definitely go again. There's a huge t.v in the middle of the town square, a market, even spotted a Wimpy that's still in business.
Anyway the Nando's was good. Seated straight away by the bouncer sorry I mean Doorman to a booth in the middle of the lower ground floor. Upstairs was quite decent but only discovered that on going to the loos which i think were okay.
Food was a free half chicken mango and lime with sweet mash, garlic bread which followed a vanilla gelado. The chicken was cooked well, again not enough mash. The garlic bread was toasted well and it made a good meal altogether which is the whole point. Dinky glasses for water however makes for about 3 trips or more for refills.. which as a water drinker is annoying.
