This new store at the Whiteley shopping development on the outskirts of Fareham shines strong. The Complex has lots of new designer outlets and a great place for shopping, it also features a Tescos (great pity it isn't a Waitrose or Sainsburys) and a new cinema to which the Nandos is attached alongside 5 guys burgers and other food outlets.

A feature of Whiteley is lots of 4 hours free hours parking surrounding the site which makes parking easy, though the horrendous queues of traffic are manic getting in and out from the M27.

Staff were very friendly, bubbly and in abundance being only the second day and the host was very pleasant, even when my friend was trying his hardest to pretend we hadn't been to Nandos before so we got the full spiel on how it works.

Bright and breezy décor with good art work and a bit of a yellow and wood theme. We got to choose a booth on the side to sit in and at the far end is a bit of a separate area which would be great for a RYN dinner (hint hint Marc). The toilets were clean and yellow and on the same level so no hauling up stairs.

Food came out very quick and the starters were good (had to take some of it home in a doggy bag) and perfectly cooked. The mains were also good only thing stopping it getting a 5 is a slight bit too much colour on my Butterfly burger and on my Pineapple and the rice could have been more generous. The chips were spot on and decked with ample peri salt. The staff were good at doing their check backs and remained most welcoming throughout.

Very much a store to come visit and enjoy and I hope it sticks with the high standard it has begun with.
