Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

London Designer Outlet is situated in between two large hotels - a Hilton and a holiday inn and right next door to Wembley stadium. I drove and parked in the "RED" car park which is a multistory on site - it is pretty expensive but if you spend more than £30 at the London Designer Outlet then parking here is free. Wembley Park tube and Wembley stadium over ground station are both about a 10 minute walk.

The restaurant is on the second floor of London Designer Outlet, near to the Cineworld cinema and an array of other places to eat. However Nandos which it's huge sign on the outside of this location is unmistakable.

I entered the restaurant at 12:30pm on a Saturday and so expected it to be very busy with the weekend lunch time rush and I was prepared to have to wait to be seated however the was no queue and only a handful (about 5) tables occupied so I was seated straight away and given my choice of pretty much any table.

Now I'm not sure if I just look like an alcoholic or if the staff here REALLY wanted me to buy a beer but unprompted I was asked 3 times by 3 different staff during my 40 minutes visit here if I wanted to buy a beer. Firstly when I was seated I was asked if I knew that this Nandos sells beers, then again at the tills after placing my order I was asked if I would like to add a beer to my order and then for a third time while a member of staff was carrying out a quality check at my table I was once again asked if I would like a beer. I declined all these offers of beer as I was driving but I was left thinking that maybe they had a lot of beers in a back room somewhere that they needed to shift and this repeated attempts to sell beer to me did come across as a little strange.

But thats my only negative about my visit here. The staff were friendly, helpful, attentive and the was plenty of them. The restaurant was not as busy (by a long way!) as I had thought it might be meaning no queueing to be seated or to order. I was given a 20% discount on my order due to my cineworld membership. And most importantly of all the half chicken I order was delicious.

So would I return to Wembley Nandos? Defiantly. Although this was only a flying lunch visit from me on this occasion and I wasn't able to try everything I was left impressed. I'm due to be here again a few times in the coming months for the NFL games at Wembley stadium and related events around the games so I'll be back for sure - and who know I might even have that beer!
