Wandsworth - Gerry Louis Review

Despite the date of Friday the 13th, we were very lucky in terms that we didn't have to wait long to be seated.
After a ten minute walk from the train station, which wasn't too bad, this branch is not that difficult to find. Inside the Southside shopping centre, which also has parking and access to many bus routes leading to Richmond, Putney and Clapham, its easy to get to.
We were seated right between the counter, kitchen and drinks area so we had a very convenient seat. I used my £10 gift card for my half chicken and mash and also bought five wings this time, all mango and lime. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the food. Whilst it was hot, I found the portion size of the sweet mash measly in comparison to what my friend was given. There were no lumps but it looked the wrong colour, and I didn't want to eat it. A quarter of the chicken was burnt, and I also noticed there was a part missing from the chicken leg. There also barely any sauce on the chicken at all, another comparison which could be made to other branches.
The staff very friendly enough, and the restaurant was kept cleaner than some others I have seen but I was a bit let down by the food. Might not re-visit this branch.
