Wandsworth - Archive Review
I went to the Wandsworth branch to take my Mum for her first Nando's, and while the food was brilliant, it wasn't the best venue for it!
Location is good, in the middle of lots of nice shops, but the tables are too close together, it feels cramped, and the toilets are upstairs past a very small area that when we were there was holding a party for about thirty very noisy and rowdy people! We also ended up moving tables after ordering as we had been put right by the bottom of the stairs where people pushed past all the time.
It was also extremely busy, so there was a queue to order, and a fairly long wait for the food. It was a Saturday afternoon though, and as it is in the middle of a shopping center, this is probably prime time for the branch.
The food, though, was fantastic. I had my usual chicken in pitta with grilled haloumi cheese and thoroughly enjoyed it, and my Mum had wings and said she was surprised that food that looked so unhealthy could taste so good!
The staff were very friendly though, and did apologise for the wait, and were perfectly co-operative when we asked to move tables.
All in all, a neat little branch, but not one I would visit in the middle of shopping time again!
