Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

I decided to finally use my Chicken Cheque from the October competition. A lovely free full platter and two drinks, yum. I got a bit lost looking for this branch, It’s in the Cardinal Place shopping area at the back tucked away, I didn’t see it at first when I walked through the shopping area, but eventually I found it, it was pretty empty with only a few tables with people on.

Friendliness of Staff – The greeter in this branch was great, complimented my Angry Birds hat, I love it when that happens, and showed us to a nice table for two. The Nandoca that served me gave my Chicken Cheque a really funny look when I gave it to her, but took it anyway, and although everything else was free she still charged me for some Peri-naise… so we ended up paying 45pence for the meal. 4/5 for the staff.

Speed of Service – The food was really quick in this branch, especially considering it was a full platter we were getting, it came in about 5 minutes, and since there was no queue when we went up to order 5/5 for Speed!

Food – The food was delicious, usually I prefer Butterfly chicken, but chicken off the bone is just as good, and manlier (when extra-hot, nobody who gets medium or lower is a true Nando’s man) the portion of chips was huge, and covered in Peri-salt, mmm, the garlic bread was also cooked perfectly, everything was delicious, and tasted even better because it was free (Thanks again RYN and Leicester – Highcross) this meal was fanstastic. 4/5 for the food!

Décor – This was a very open branch with a glass front, pretty small and quite cold. It has a basic layout with the tills at the back and all the tables in front of it, there’s nothing that impressive or special there, It’s just Nando’s. 3/5 for it.

Overall, this was a really nice, and free, visit to Nando’s, I will probably return here in a few months when I go to see Wicked nearby! 4/5 for this branch!!!
