This RYN reviewers would be my first time at Vauxhall arches Nandos which is only 30 seconds stroll from Vauxhall station.

The first thing to say is that Vauxhall arches is a beautiful location that make the most of its space. The arched ceilings and bright signs really make this location unique, cosy and it’s very well done.

I had travelled from outside of London to the RYN dinner and arrived after most of the other dinners and was taken to a private area off to the side of the main part of the restaurant where the are three distinct seating areas which unfortunately meant our large group was broken up into 3 smaller groups. I took a seat in the larger of the 3 areas on the same table as Sonia, Vicky, Lisa and Nicholas.

Being in 3 distinct groups made the raffle and quiz more difficult for the boys to carry out but Marc and James did a great job in challenging circumstances and everyone I was sat with had an enjoyable time.

For my meal I had Butterfly chicken with peas and peri-peri chips. I was the last of our large group to order my food and so unsurprisingly I had a long wait (30 mins) for my meal to be prepared but given the circumstances I understood why this was and in fact I didn't mind the wait at all - I had ordered a pitta and Houmas starter for my table to share and enjoyed chatting with and getting to know my fellow RYN reviewers while we waited.

I visited the men’s room which is tucked away at the very back of the restaurant passed the open kitchen area. It was clean and well maintained and on the way back to the table I came across my meal about the be brought to my table so I collected it brought it over myself.

My butterfly chicken was well cooked and tasted great although I was pretty envious of Marc's large double wrap which was filled with just about everything going and made a mental note to try this next time as it looked great.

I think it's fair to say that without any phone single where we were sitting we struggled with the quiz and came 3rd but I had a really enjoyable night and a lot of fun in a lovely, if little cramped location, thank you Marc and James and happy 6th birthday to Rate Your Nandos!

So would I visit Nandos Vauxhall arches again? Defiantly although I would want to sit in the main bit of the restaurant next time.
