Stroud Green - Gerry Louis Review

I feel really sorry for arsenal fans who can't have a pre-match Nando's at this branch! Everything was a farce!

A ten min walk down Stroud green road from finsbury park tube station, though I came by bus, the branch sits at the corner down on the next junction. Entered the branch to a queue of people undiscernible who was waiting for a table and who was there to order food. There were plenty of tables but the poor host working on his own, I'm surprised he didn't disappear to go shoot himself due to the stress. It was more than ten mins til I got a table then a further fifteen waiting to get served. I had read a few reviews for this branch and was going to go to wood green instead, but at the suggestion of Elliott I thought why not do both? Challenge accepted but in hindsight I should have chosen two other branches.

Advised there was a twenty minute wait was fine, what else was annoying was how there is no organisation at the till point and their drinks machine was broken so you'd get people jumping ahead to get a refills *sheds tear*.

The food finally arrived in just less than 20minutes, a quarter chicken mango and lime with sweet mash (first Nando's of the evening) and it was visibly burnt. I anticipated inedible as I had seen from other reviewers but the chicken was okay but he mash tasted funny, really funny. I had to smother it in lemon and herb sauce which made it taste much better.

I don't recommend his restaurant whatsoever.. Service was terrible, it can't be teething problems, this branch definitely needs burning down and re-starting to put it mildly, have it rise like a Phoenix out of the flames..... I could not wait to get out if there, didn't even bother to look for decorations...AVOID
