Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
Easy parking in the centre's car park just outside the Nando's, though very expensive for outside London at £2.75 per hour! Nando's don't do parking validation either which is unusual at these kind of complexes.
Strange situation when arriving - we were told the wait would be 20 minutes and put in the online queuing system. However, we soon noticed half the tables in the restaurant were empty! I asked the manager what was going on and he said the kitchen was too busy so they couldn't seat people as people get upset if they have to wait more than 20 minutes for their food. I explained we had a baby and wouldn't mind waiting 20+ minutes but could we at least have a table? He said no, but then came back 5 minutes later and sat us down. Bit of an odd one! If there are too many orders coming in, then maybe pause collection and delivery orders during peak times? Our local certainly does that on Friday and Saturday nights.
Despite this situation, staff were lovely throughout including the manager I spoke to. Food itself was very good, mine was a solid 4.5 but wife's chicken breast was tiny so taking off half a mark overall for that. Huge chip portion though, covered in peri-spice!
