Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

We were lucky to get a parking spot right outside the Nando's at 5.36 pm. It was either a 1hour 12 drive to Orpington, though I wouldn't be driving, so I found a London Nando's I hadn't been to and this branch was 50minutes from Ealing Broadway.

There was no host in sight as we entered the branch and we wanted to go get our own table but one of the grillers came out and offered us seats. We wanted a larger table more within the restaurant but he wouldn't give it to my companion and I as a table of seven might enter. We settled for a table in the window of this small branch near the front entrance and by the till/grill area.

Ordered easy enough at 5.44pm. Claimed a free 1/4 chicken green reward and ordered another quarter, mango and lime with sweet mash. They've recently put the price up from 7.35 for a 1/4 chicken and 2 sides to 7.60 so I'm happy I can go back to my original meal of chicken and mash which is cheaper nod a little healthier again. It arrived in 16 minutes but I didn't want to be too unfair for the scoring. The meal itself was okay but they brought me two breast pieces and the portion size of the mash was measly. There was a nice flavour to the mash but there wasn't enough of it. The chicken was a little dry and didn't have enough sauce on it to cover the dryness.

The toilets are up a flight of stairs and on a bank connecting the flights is a wooden sculpture thing hanging on the wall. My friend was very impressed by this but it looked like skeleton bones moulded together in wood form. The toilets looked great, two black marble sinks with silver ripples and a huge gold gilded mirror against a wall. Almost fit for a queen if one door didn't just have tissue in a hole where the door handle should be.

Relatively clean branch, we had a wobbly table but a good bright view of outside. This place is very small but they have a Deliveroo service so we could understand why it wasn't so busy on a Sunday evening. They need to cook their chicken a bit more but not have it dry out, or cover the chicken in more sauce.
