Stockport - Eduardo Suarez Review
Although in the grim part of my home town Stockport it was the ideal timing for my 32nd Birthday!! A New Nando's opening that day!
The location is a slightly out of town with the shopping centre near Toy's R Us, and the pavement around it is still being worked on so careful with roadworks etc.
The staff were very friendly although I have to be honest with the speed of service they were still learning (day 1!!) and perhaps had trouble locating tables.
My cheese for the Garlic Bread was returned by the head waiter before I questioned it, but it still failed the melted cheese test which I do love to try. (Garlic Bread + Cheese = Melted Cheese on Garlic Bread....)
The actual order was the standard Extra Hot half chicken with spicy chips, which were VERY spice-ridden.. As a birthday treat though I added standard "Extra Hot" sauce rather than "Extra Extra" black bottled and had to go via the unlimited refills about 4 times... Black bottle will be normal except on special occasions.
They allowed me to eat our own birthday cake with plates and spoons provided so bonus points, but not sure if this would be OK if they were waiting on filling seats.
The inside was lovely (see photo), albeit a bit draughty, but that could be down to the overall Stockport weather rather than the building.
The toilet was immaculate (day 1!) but the Dyson Airblade could be an awkward position next to the sitting toilet if the door was swung wide. Still, extra points for Dyson loyalty.
Bonus II: They accidentally marked my loyalty card twice, so it goes by quicker. brilliant.
If you need before/after refreshments then I really recommend Porter's railway a short walk away. A very well respected Real Ale pub which won't suit all, but feel free to check the Beer In The Evening opinions. (it has Bar Billiards!!)
