New Manager was super friendly and said he wants to improve his store...go him! (cant remember his name!!!) hot cutlery and great juicey chicken.

Apparently on a football game day you can only park in roaring meg for 1.5 hours.... so you can add £100 fine onto your dinner if you didn't spot the sign... madness for a retail park of shops and restaurants. Love nandos but **DON'T USE ROARING MEG THEIR CAR PARK IS CRIMINAL**

I arrived at the restaurant with my disabled mother, who struggled to get in and sit down. I was also carrying my infant son in the other hand. We arrived early for lunch at around 11am and we were rudely told by a staff member that we were not aloud on the premises until 11:30. We asked if we could sit and wait for the store to open, as my mother was disabled and it was raining heavily outside. He replied "I cannot have you on my premises".

This Nando's is on the Roaring Meg Retail Park and so is easily found just off junction 7 of the A1(M). It's less than a mile from the town centre and train station - and also from Stevenage Leisure park where things like a Hollywood Bowl and Cineworld are. There is an abundance of free parking right outside for up to 3 hours.

Arrived at this Nando's around 5:30pm and it was very quiet - only a couple of tables in use and at one point I was the only person in there.

What a brilliant meal! This new Nando’s is six weeks old and it’s a cracker! You can park right outside for free and you should find it easier to get a table here than at the first Stevenage Nando’s which is very nearby.

To echo Marc's comments, this Nando's is in a very easy location with free parking, and has stunning decoration - they really went all out on this one. The manager told us about some lightbulbs which are made individually by hand in South Africa and take about a month each to complete!

The food itself was absolutely delicious, and a rare 5/5, with the chips being perfectly covered in peri-spice, and my double pitta well made and suitably filling.

I often wonder how your staff have the patience to do their job with the amount of bad behaviour they have directed at them. I had a warm, friendly welcome, good food and great service. However while sitting enjoying my food I noticed not once but twice a young waitress (Rebecca) was subjected to quite rude behaviour from customers, totally unprovoked, yet she remained calm and helpful throughout both exchanges, she is a credit to you.
